XMAS Fayre - December 1st 2007
We held a XMAS Fayre at the Village Hall on Saturday 1st December which included a visit from Father Xmas.
Despite the initial bad weather we had a very good attendance with a constant stream of people shopping at the 24 stalls that were set up in the hall.

The W.I supplied much needed refreshments throughout the day in the café that was available in the park room.
Over 120 children visited Santa in his grotto and he was helped by a fairy (Jessica) and Mother Xmas (Jade).

As we are staging a pantomime here in January, the Stagelights team were here to promote the event.

There were free activities for the children to do which included making xmas cards, xmas decorations and xmas book marks which the children thoroughly enjoyed doing.

Stan was the Man running the raffle and as he is the village hall`s treasurer he did a brilliant job of bringing in the money.

We had both young and old visiting Santa in his grotto.
